Ilkley Business Improvement District Manager
Job title: Ilkley Business Improvement District (BID) Manager.
Employer: Ilkley BID Limited.
Responsible to: Ilkley BID Board of Directors.
Reporting to: Chair of the BID Board.
Responsible for: Ilkley BID team, consultants and contractors.
Duration: Fixed term, from 1st June 2024 until 31st May 2029 (Probationary period of six months). Possible extension beyond this point, subject to a successful renewal ballot.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, with regular flexible working required, to include evening, weekend and occasional bank holidays to meet the requirements of the BID.
Holiday entitlement: 25 days per year, plus public holidays (8 days per year)
Salary: Between £40,000 and £42,000pa (based on 37.5 hours per week) depending on experience, with eligibility for a contributory pension scheme in accordance with current regulations.
Location: Ilkley town centre and other locations required to deliver the BID Business Plan. This is an Ilkley office-based role.

The selection process will consist of an interview (panel), and a short presentation (5 – 10 minutes) on ‘Linking to the Ilkley BID Business Plan, what would the first 100 days look like if you were successful?’.
A relevant police check will be carried out post acceptance of offer (Safeguarding compliance).
