Ilkley BID Renewal 2024
The Ilkley BID was set up in 2019 with a Business Plan to focus on the themes of marketing the town, one voice for businesses, maintaining Ilkley as an attractive place and supporting businesses. Over the first four years of our term we have delivered a number of initiatives within each sector and also supported businesses in many ways throughout the last four years. The current Ilkley BID term is due to end in May 2024 and must undergo a renewal ballot. Businesses who meet the criteria and are within the BID area will be asked to vote in favour of supporting a second five-year term. In February 2024, you will be asked to vote on whether you want the BID to operate for second five year term.

Drop-In Session
The BID team will be holding informal drop in sessions for businesses to share their opinions about what Ilkley BID should consider in preparing its Business Plan for the period 2024 – 2029. Businesses will then be asked to vote on these proposals in February 2024.

Business Plan
2024 – 2029
Following the ongoing period of consultation, we will be in a position to launch the Business Plan for a possible BID second term in February 2024. The new Business Plan will include full details of how the BID will continue to operate with fully-costed proposals for the projects which businesses have identified as being most important for the town centre. All eligible businesses will be invited to vote on this plan in February/March 2024.
