Ilkley’s Most Loved 2026: Celebrating Our Local Businesses
To mark Valentine’s Day, we successfully launched the inaugural Ilkley’s Most Loved campaign. This initiative invited the public to nominate their favourite local businesses and share the unique qualities that make them an essential part of our community.
The campaign proved to be a highly effective platform for highlighting the quality of our local offering and providing additional exposure for our levy payers. Following its significant success, we are pleased to confirm that “Ilkley’s Most Loved” will return as an annual event.
Recognition and Publicity
Following a comprehensive public vote, the ten businesses with the highest number of nominations were presented with a bespoke “Most Loved” heart to display prominently in-store.
To maximise the reach of the campaign and celebrate these achievements, we have implemented the following publicity measures:
- Social Media Showcase: The winners are being featured across all Discover Ilkley social media channels, sharing their stories with our digital audience.
- Broadcast Interviews: In partnership with Your Ilkley Radio, a series of interviews is being conducted with the successful business owners to discuss their work and their connection to the town.
