Celebrating Ilkley’s Creative Community
Ilkley BID has launched Ilkley Creative Arts & Culture Month, a month-long campaign celebrating the businesses, venues and organisations that enrich our town through art, creativity and cultural experiences.
Taking place throughout September 2026, the campaign forms part of our ongoing work to support local businesses, promote Ilkley as a vibrant destination and encourage residents and visitors to discover more of what the town has to offer.
From exhibitions, theatre and live music to workshops, competitions, special experiences and offers, the campaign brings together a varied programme of creative activity taking place across Ilkley.
Showcasing Our Arts and Culture Businesses
Ilkley has a wonderfully diverse creative community. This campaign has been designed to give greater visibility to the many local businesses, venues and organisations contributing to the town’s cultural life.
This includes:
- Galleries, artists, makers and creative retailers
- Theatres, performance spaces and entertainment venues
- Music, literature, film and photography
- Workshops, exhibitions and creative experiences
- Businesses providing products and services connected to the arts and culture sector
By bringing these together under one campaign, we are helping people discover new places, experiences and businesses while highlighting the important contribution the creative sector makes to Ilkley.
Supporting Businesses and Driving Footfall
To support the campaign, Ilkley BID has created a dedicated Creative Arts & Culture Month page on the Discover Ilkley website.
The page acts as a central hub where residents and visitors can:
