Supporting businesses

Ilkley BID works in several ways to directly support the businesses within the town centre and will act as a united voice for businesses, advocating their interests to local authorities and other organisations. Initiatives like the town-wide anti-crime radio/app scheme and researching projects to encourage investment all aim to create a safer and more prosperous environment for businesses to thrive.

The BID will help businesses explore cost-saving schemes for overheads and will continue to promote the popular Ilkley Gift Card scheme, which likely drives customer traffic to member businesses. Additionally the provision of free public Wi-Fi encourages visitors to stay longer, potentially increasing footfall for shops and restaurants.
