The Ilkley BID (Business Improvement District) successfully partnered with Your Ilkley radio station (formerly Rombalds Radio) to promote local businesses and increase community engagement.
Through this collaboration, Ilkley BID members benefited from increased exposure on Your Ilkley’s website and app. By driving traffic to the Discover Ilkley website, businesses were featured alongside other BID members, local events, and activities, reaching a wider audience.
To further enhance visibility, participating businesses had the opportunity to participate in two on-site recording sessions hosted by Your Ilkley. During these sessions, businesses were able to record short, pre-recorded interviews to highlight their unique offerings, share their love for Ilkley, and inform listeners about their location and upcoming events.
The recording sessions took place at:

- Tuesday, July 23rd from 11am to 2pm at Outside the Box Cafe
- Wednesday, August 21st from 11am to 2pm at the Ilkley Manor House
Each participating business was allocated a 10-minute slot to share their story.
By partnering with Your Ilkley, Ilkley BID provided its members with a valuable platform to reach new customers and promote their businesses within the local community and beyond.
