Ilkley BID joined forces with the community groups & businesses across the town to launch the Ilkley’s Got Heart campaign, equipping people with basic but essential skills to save a life.

Knowing what to do during a life-threating emergency can mean the difference between life and death.

lkley’s Got Heart aims to reach a target of 1000 lifesavers who have completed the FREE online Prepared to Save a Life course with Virtual College.

During October and November 2019, 4 pop-up demos featured live demonstrations of core elements of the course, including how to help when someone is choking, bleeding heavily, having a stroke or seizure.
